This season we’ve spent a great deal of time practicing, as the team’s competitive schedule has been challenging to coordinate with all four of the players now in university. However, with Team Kiemele’s qualification to the Ontario U21 Provincial Championships at the Annandale Curling Club in late December, we can take a bit of a break, the team can catch up on some school work, and we can thank our sponsors for supporting our team through this season.

Wall’s Piano Gallery
Wall’s Piano Gallery is the authorized Yamaha piano dealership serving Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge, and is located at 4 Hachborn Street in St. Jacobs.
The proprietors are Paul and Jackie Wall who have been in the music business for decades. Paul is a professional piano tuner who services pianos for the University of Waterloo, the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society (one of the busiest recital spaces in Canada), the Guelph River Run Centre, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, the Centre in the Square, the Perimeter Institute, the Grand River Jazz Society, the K-W Kiwanis Music Festival, the Guelph Jazz Festival, the Guelph Youth Music Centre and the RCM Exams, amongst others. Jackie has been a musician and music teacher through much of her life, and their daughter Heidi is an accomplished concert pianist who is currently a DMA graduate student in Music at Western University. The service and support provided by Paul and Jackie to their clients is second-to-none and Leslie and I are thankful that both Jackie and Heidi taught our own boys piano and violin when they were younger. Hybrid Hair and Detox Spa
Hybrid Hair and Detox Spa, also located in downtown St. Jacobs on Cedar Street, is a full-service hair salon and spa that features renewable, beneficial plant-based, colour-safe ingredients that are environmentally friendly. Proprietor Erin Kiers and her daughter Morgan provide a full range of services including hair cutting, nails, and spa treatments.
