Bantam inter-club league

For the past several years some of the curling clubs in proximity to Elmira – Fergus, Acton, K-W Granite, Arthur, Shelburne, Orangeville, Alliston, Elora, Guelph – have organized an interclub league specifically for bantam-aged players to give them opportunities to gain additional experience. There are two levels (A and B) with A-level rinks being high-quality, competitive teams and B-level rinks for younger, more inexperienced curlers. With our increase in enrollment this year, Elmira now has the opportunity to participate in this program.

Interclub exhibition games are held once a month on Saturdays at different clubs. The schedule for this year is as follows:

I have been in contact with several of the Elmira bantam players and there is sufficient interest to field one B-level rink from Elmira. Other bantam curlers who are interested in participating should contact me as soon as possible so that I can determine if we have enough interest to field another rink.
